An improved all four limbs based energy harvester

A human energy harvester is developed to convert to human mechanical energy into electrical energy using a DC generator-based system. The energy harvester has two flywheel arrangements that are connected to two DC generators. The flywheel integrated system is used to extract human mechanical energy from both the upper and lower limbs separately. This is caused to receive a full-body workout to the user and hence maximum energy can be harvest from the machine. The overall performance and efficiency of the machine can be improved further by adjusting the machine parameters while understanding human factors and ergonomics.
