Here’s how to get started:
Step 1: Submit a Formal Request
Contact the Enterprise Unit through the provided contact details. Share information about the technology you’re interested in licensing and your intended use.
Step 2: Initial Contact
The Enterprise Unit will evaluate your request and reach out to discuss next steps.
Step 3: Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Download and sign the university’s council-approved NDA template. (Link provided here)
  • If you wish to use your own NDA template, the university will review it.
    Note: This may require up to three months for council approval.
  • Step 4: Licensing Negotiations
    The Enterprise Unit will facilitate negotiations to establish mutually beneficial licensing terms.

    Step 5: Finalize Licensing Terms
    Finalize all terms, including the scope of the license, payment structure, and IP usage rights.
    Step 6: Sign the Licensing Agreement
    Once the terms are finalized, the licensing agreement will be signed, granting you the rights to commercialize the university’s technology under the agreed terms.
